Old Nebraska Guy
Gerry and Carter to the combine. Discuss 1 Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Think Carter will perform well. Don't think Gerry will do anything to stand out but I don't expect bad numbers either Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I think both will put up some pretty good numbers. Gerry is pretty fast and strong. Not sure how fast Carter is but I think his other testing numbers will be pretty good. Quote Link to comment
Old Nebraska Guy
Using the NFL's ratings from NFL.com, Gerry has 11 safeties rated above him and is tied with 3 others. Carter is among 5 of 19 tight ends that are not rated. I wish them well. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I'm surprised that Westerkamp wasn't invited. But....would his knee be healthy enough to participate? Quote Link to comment
zeWilbur
I'm surprised that Westerkamp wasn't invited. But....would his knee be healthy enough to participate? No. Reports when he had surgery claimed he would not be good to go until summertime. Quote Link to comment
Sargon
http://saturdaytradition.com/nebraska-football/westerkamp-never-more-motivated-2017/ There’s still a decent chance that he could be back to 100 percent by March 14. Westerkamp said that he’s ahead of schedule, but that he would push his workout back if he felt his knee wasn’t fully healed. That won’t be from a lack of trying. Westerkamp is currently rehabbing and training at Bommarito Performance Systems in Davie, Fla. Six days a week, he’s at the facility from 6 a.m.—4 p.m. Four or those hours are spent in the physical therapy room. “It’s a grind. It’s a grind,” he said. “But I love it. I love doing it. It’s getting me better.” Westerkamp will spend the next few weeks training alongside fellow former Huskers Nate Gerry and Josh Banderas. 1 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
2 guys, huh? Woof. Quote Link to comment
Husker from Kansas
I would think Gerrys numbers will impress. Dude looks like he lives in the weight room and he was a great sprinter in high school. I look for him to surpass a few of the guys ahead of him Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
There was a tweet about 5 blue blood programs combining to only send 2 guys, so it could be worse. Quote Link to comment
