Mavric
Riley said today that he's in no hurry to name a starter and it would likely be "later rather than sooner." Quote Link to comment

Redux
Things could change between now and kickoff, it's never written in stone. I'm fine with them holding out, keeps the competition fierce. 1 Quote Link to comment

Apathy
Whoever it is, I just want the best one on the field. We desperately need a quarterback, something we've lacked for almost a decade. Martinez and Armstrong had their moments but they were also liabilities too Quote Link to comment
chainsaw
You don't wanna get the reputation of recruiting topnotch QB's and then not giving them a fair shake to win the job. Also need to know strengths and weakness's of both guys. Very seldom doesn't the backup play. Usually at critical times! 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Riley would be stupid to name a starter now, or even at the beginning of fall camp. If he said Lee was the clear cut #1 guy, POB would be on the first plane out of Nebraska and be getting his transfer paperwork ready. 3 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Currently: Lee - 62.2%, POB - 26.2% 1 Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
I think we need to turn this into a Poll? My vote is Lee. I think it's actually going to be close, but I think it'll be too hard for Riley to pass over someone with experience. 1 Quote Link to comment

I think we end up with Lee for 2 seasons, then in 2019, you have RsJr POB vs RsSo Gebbia battle for starter. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Riley said today that he's in no hurry to name a starter and it would likely be "later rather than sooner." Riley also said that he probably handled the 2013 QB race wrong. Normally, I like BC, but these tweets are misleading to what Riley's mindset might be going into this situation. Sure he is not going to name a starter tomorrow, but he will also likely not wait until the week before the first game. My guess would be that if a leader declares himself during the spring practice, he may announce around the spring game. If not, we will not hear anything until fall camp. Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
If they are truly equal at the start of fall camp, then go with POB. 3 Quote Link to comment
