Mavric
He's already won admiration in the weight room, with the Kearney native winning the Lifter of the Year honor last year. Nebraskans don't need an explanation on the significance of that award. "It's something I definitely take pride in. That's one of the goals when I got here that I wanted to get that award," McNitt said. "It's not necessarily about me, but I like to lift other guys up and see them make progress. "When you have everybody in that weight room that wants to get better, it becomes more than just about yourself. You're looking to the next guy and he's making you better." Set a standard. NUance
Nebraska. Fullback U. Might be adding McNitt to the long list of great Husker FBs. : Quote Link to comment
I am I
Underutilized Janovich. I don't personally need to see our offense go back to 1992 but if you have a talent that can keep a D honest and pop some screens or traps, you better do it Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
You need to have that fullback mindset with the powerful legs, forward and low pad level and twisting, turning, lift those feet and avoid trippping running style and the heart of a Husker to produce the running game we all want and Riley says he wants as an identity. We've had a dozen or more great ones over they years and many many more dam good ones. It seems like most of them come from Nebraska and most from small or medium sized towns. Not sure why but just seems that way. The mindset I suppose is inherently Nebraska born and bred. Quote Link to comment
