No they aren't citizens -

He had better find a way to

1. Pardon himself and family members

2. A easy way to leave office (suddenly sick??) before the impeachment hearings start

3. and then Move to Russia out of reach of Mueller's investigation

he doesn't have to move to russia to be safe until the dems take control.    but he might want to plan that trip right around the mid terms just in case.

Seriously -  I got to imagine this caused the hair on the back of Trumps neck (the hairs he uses for his come over) to rise.  This kind of support from these Russian individuals and companies cannot occur without the coordinated efforts of the Trump campaign in my opinion.   This indictment is setting a strong foundation for collusion and conspiracy.

What / who will be the next domino to fall?  I wonder if Mike Flynn is spilling his guts and thus this happening today.

Stanislav Belkovsky, a host at the independent Russian network Rain TV, disagreed. “Prostitutes around the city say the ‘golden shower’ orgy story is true,” he said.

Can we subpoena them? :)

If the whole thing is true and the tapes ever did come to light, the GOP would say "So what? It's not illegal." and ignore the fact it proves the dossier was accurate. Then they'd say it happened too long ago so it's no longer worth investigating. Then they'd open up the Clinton email investigation again to see if the font she used was legal.

Kind of a big deal. This certainly turns the heat up on Manafort, who according to the article plead not guilty to the numerous charges against him.

Mueller appears to be slowly working his way up the chain. I'm very curious what Gates & Manfort knew about why the GOP mysteriously changed its official platform stance on handling the Russia/Ukraine situation at the convention. If something untoward happened there, one of these two likely knows about it.

If they could get Manafort to flip & cooperate, that would be huge.

Kristol was speculating that based on the "right hand man" position that Gates served to Manafort he would likely have been privy to actual conversations w/Trump or second hand (relayed by Manafort) and that that would open new avenues.  It's no wonder Don was loosing it on twitter this weekend.

Let's not forget Mitch McConnell's role in all of this.

Specifically, the White House wanted congressional leaders to sign off on a bipartisan statement urging state and local officials to take federal help in protecting their voting-registration and balloting machines from Russian cyber-intrusions.
...

In a secure room in the Capitol used for briefings involving classified information, administration officials broadly laid out the evidence U.S. spy agencies had collected, showing Russia’s role in cyber-intrusions in at least two states and in hacking the emails of the Democratic organizations and individuals.

And they made a case for a united, bipartisan front in response to what one official described as “the threat posed by unprecedented meddling by a foreign power in our election process.”

The Democratic leaders in the room unanimously agreed on the need to take the threat seriously. Republicans, however, were divided, with at least two GOP lawmakers reluctant to accede to the White House requests.

According to several officials, McConnell raised doubts about the underlying intelligence and made clear to the administration that he would consider any effort by the White House to challenge the Russians publicly an act of partisan politics.

Some of the Republicans in the briefing also seemed opposed to the idea of going public with such explosive allegations in the final stages of an election, a move that they argued would only rattle public confidence and play into Moscow’s hands.

McConnell’s office did not respond to a request for comment. After the election, Trump chose McConnell’s wife, Elaine Chao, as his nominee for transportation secretary.

One final time, the Obama White House got played by Mitch McConnell & Congressional Republicans, who, it cannot be understated, are awful, craven creatures concerned only with maintaining their own power.

I think they also thought Trump was going to lose, and wanted Clinton to win without playing this "card" before the election.
