Clear Bag Policy to Go Into Effect This Fall

Recommended Posts

I got an email about this from the University last week. Figured I'd pass it along so everyone has a heads-up.

Beginning with the Arkansas State game on Sept. 2, NU is implementing a clear bag policy and limiting the size and type of bags allowed in. This will be in place for all NU sports venues.

Season ticket-holders received an email alerting them to the new policy.

According to the policy, here’s what will be allowed into Memorial Stadium:

A clear plastic bag (no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12”), a small “clutch” bag, a gallon-sized clear plastic freezer bag, a camera (under 6”) without case, binoculars (no case), hand-held radios and TVs, infant feeding supplies, empty water bottle and a regulation seat cushion (no arms, no zippers). Blankets are permitted but should be worn over the shoulder.

Here’s the list of stuff not allowed: purse, backpack, clear backpack, tinted or patterned plastic bags, tote bag, mesh bag, diaper bag, camera case, binocular case, fanny pack or umbrella.

The terrorists win when we give up our freedoms in the name of safety.

I think they should allow a woman (or dad) to bring in their normal diaper bag.

And I think a smaller backpack should be OK.

Let us be brave and try to live like we want to. That is what our forefathers wanted.

hahaha I highly doubt terrorists are checking the Nebraska game day rule changes and chalking it up as a win.

They are after your freedom. And it is a win for them whether they check or not.
