Fox News Scandals

OK...I was wondering how long it would take for this defense to come out. Quite frankly, it took longer than I thought. When you have Roger Ailes and now O'Reilly being accused of sexual harassment. We have a President in office that obviously doesn't have a problem with harassing married women and even thinks his own daughter is a nice piece of ass.

Obviously, it's liberals fault.

Seriously....what has happened to conservatives when they still support people like this?

OF COURSE it's not Bill's fault that several women have similar stories of sexual harassment.

OF COURSE it's the liberals. Those damned liberals! They're so powerful! They're everywhere! They're in control of the economy, they're in control of the news, they're in control of the schools and all throughout government and they hire millions of people to fake marches and now they've targeted poor, innocent, Bill O'Reilly.

If the liberals are so powerful, though, why do conservatives control both the House and Senate? And all the highest-rated radio and cable news? And all the major corporations around the country? And the vast majority of governorships? And the vast majority of state legislatures? And how did conservatives win the electoral college?

I mean, if there's this vast liberal conspiracy out there... where exactly is it?

And lest we forget what kind of person would defend Mr. O'Reilly, noted "pu&&y grabber" Donald Trump defended poor Bill:

Trump, Asked About Accusations Against Bill O’Reilly, Calls Him a ‘Good Person’

Speaking in the Oval Office, Donald J. Trump praised Mr. O’Reilly as “a good person” and declared, “I don’t think Bill did anything wrong,” days after The New York Times reported that five women had received settlements after making harassment claims against him.

News of the payouts, totaling about $13 million, generated a storm of criticism toward Fox News, which recently renewed Mr. O’Reilly’s contract, and prompted more than two dozen advertisers to withdraw their support of Mr. O’Reilly’s prime time show, the highest-rated program in cable news.

Few have spoken out publicly in support of the Fox star. The president had no qualms.

“Personally, I think he shouldn’t have settled,” Mr. Trump told Times reporters in a wide-ranging interview. “Because you should have taken it all the way; I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”

“I think he’s a person I know well,” Mr. Trump said. “He is a good person.”

Typical lame excuse by public figures - If it isn't the vast right wing conspiracy it is the vast liberal conspiracy. "I" cannot ever be wrong, do wrong, or admit to doing wrong.

Time for Fox to clean house & rebrand themselves. These people seem to think they were above reproach.

It could be both. I can see how liberal groups might dig and poke and undermine their opposition the same way that conservative groups would do the same in reverse.

The easy solution here is probably to not serially sexually harass women. But there is perhaps an element of "selective efforts to politically destroy" here.

There will be no cultural changes while Roger Ailes owns Fox. He's accused in several sexual harassment claims as well.

But, it looks like in this instance, the liberals won. Bill really is out at Fox.

At least Bill is finding plenty to do in his leisure time...

I was at breakfast today with my mom and her husband, and they were talking about Bill O'Reilly being "targeted" by "liberal" groups. I rolled my eyes.

1. I quickly pointed out that Fox News had paid out nearly 15 million to multiple women to settle harassment claims.

2. Fox News wouldn't have paid out the money if there wasn't any truth to the accusations.

3. Bill O'Reilly should have just hired hookers.

That pretty much shut the entire "Bill O'Reilly is a victim of liberal activists" conversation down. LOL.

Except that Bill O'Reilly's culture of choice prohibits hookers from existing.
