Next Year Starting Five Predictions

Recommended Posts

PG- Glynn Watson

SG- Anton Gill or James Palmer or Thomas Allen

SF- Evan Taylor

PF- Isaiah Roby or Jack McVeigh

C- Jordy Tshimanga

This is my predictions for the first semester. In the second semester I think Isaac Copeland will start at PF.

Glynn will have two back ups if need be in Allen and Gill. Evan Taylor is a shooting guard.

PG: Watson, Allen, Gill

SG: Gill, Taylor, Allen

SF: James Palmer Jr, Jack Mcveigh, Nana Akenten

PF: Copleland Roby,***

C: Jordy, Duby, Copeland

*** Possible transfer or Copeland may not be eligible for first semester.

I mean .... I realize that what we may be forced to do is probably different from what we *should* do.

But surely Roby won't be playing much 4. He's 214 pounds. He'll get eaten alive.

And I don't think Taylor will see a lot of minutes. Hopefully Copeland is healthy otherwise.....

PG - Watson - Allen - Taylor

SG - Gill -or- Palmer - Akenten

SF - McVeigh - Roby

PF - Copeland - Borchardt

C - Tshimanga - Okeke

I mean Jeriah played the 4 last year, and Roby played it some last year so it is not too far fetched. He makes up for some things with his athleticism. I would put the Princeton guy in front of Bordchardt, if we sign him. I would say Tanner is the third string center not the back up four, unless Tim wants almost every four in the league blowing by him. Just look at Jacobsen when he had to guard 4's outside of Swanigan, he struggled mightily and Tanner would too.

This isn't a prediction, that is your depth chart.

SG looks more like - "Gill, Akenten or Palmer". Palmer will not get minutes at Nebraska.

PF is "Copeland, Princeton dude"

Other than that, it's exact.

You don't think Palmer is going to get PT?

Why not?

I don't want to speak for Teach, but probably is based around his career averages of 3pts, 1ast, 1rb in 12min per game.

Hopefully he's got better and plays a bigger role, but statistically he hasn't proven anything.

Palmer is bad. Very bad. From what I've seen and from what I've heard. He will not be playing.

i don't want to be mean or that guy but people can get a hell of a lot better. I know it's a long shot but with hard work you can really up your game drastically.

That was literally the meanest thing I've ever seen posted on this board

I don't doubt what you've heard AtBone, but.... Guys don't get full rides to Miami and then another P5 School, if they are very bad.... Right?
