Curious, why is the higher seed not the "home" team?

If you are the home team in the opener, you are usually the visitor in the 2nd game. Or, they did a coin flip before the game.

Interesting. Thanks :thumbs

I know the CWS tries to have teams flip from being home and away for the 2nd games, and then after that, they do coin flip well before the games to decide home team.

Because we were home in our first game of the tournament and the Hawkeyes were the away team for theirs, we switched today.

This Iowa pitcher looks to have pretty good stuff. NU was putting good swings on him early, but not the last time through. Burkamper will need to be strong today.

Huskers killing themselves with RISP. Need some clutch hitting

Yes, the 3rd inning stunk to not score any. Schreiber had a good at bat, even with the strikeout. Miller was fooled completely. Sometimes gotta credit the pitcher.

Yes. Still gotta get a sac fly or something with under 2 outs. Just frustrating we aren't finishing innings with runners we've had on

Agree. Miller's at bat was the frustrating one in that inning.
