Warrior10
Not that it matters but he said he ran a 4.54 40 this weekend at Penn St. Hand held. Camping at OklaSt and UNC this week. He'll be here the 17th. Langs visited twice already and he's visited Neb numerous times. He's not a statue, pretty athletic kid. 1 Quote Link to comment
spurs1990
All about stealing a kid from Iowa. Especially one who is already rated similar to the guys we have on board that we are thrilled to have. Having some wheels is a plus too Quote Link to comment

Treand3
Thinking this should be over soon. Why is that? Just a hunch honestly. They held out offering due to Gunnell. Otherwise this offer would've been given a while back. Also, like Gunnell and A&M, he's been on campus multiple times. Quote Link to comment

Saunders
Is the 17th visit a FNL? 16th would be a FNL, 17th is a Saturday. So IDK. 1 Quote Link to comment

HANC
This kid is a good one. MR has said that we need to win locally, and these type of guys don't appear everyday in Nebraska/Iowa. I am a coach in SWI and he is for real. Dad is a coach, left Iowa for Texas HS gig, then came back home. He is "better" than a back up plan! I hope he verbals to NU. I have seen prominent DI players up close and he is one for sure! Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
If Riley was really that concerned about "winning locally" he would have offered this kid sooner than getting dumped by Gunnel Quote Link to comment
spurs1990
If Riley was really that concerned about "winning locally" he would have offered this kid sooner than getting dumped by Gunnel Nah. This staff has proven they are going to go after top talent. To catch Gunner's interest they made him the only one in a two year window. Sometimes you get them sometimes you don't. At least they are making strong pushes. Let's also not pretend like they aren't in early enough on this kid. He's a '19 and right now it's May of 2017.... Yes he has offers but no where have I seen one of those that's a leader or that we are too late. Plus even though he didn't have an offer, they've got him to campus twice with another likely for FNL. I guess to make some people happy you have to Lane Kiffin kids and offer in 7th grade. 4 Quote Link to comment
