knapplc
Lincoln Riley expected to take over, because of course Oklahoma has to copy us by having a Head Coach named Riley. 5 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
There is NO WAY this was planned. It's either health-related or disciplinary. You don't just up and decide now that you want to retire. EDIT - hmmmmm......... 2 Quote Link to comment

Rumors in Dallas-area that it's somewhat health related. The guy is a legend at OU, and has more $ than he knows what to do. Smart decision to walk away and enjoy the twilight of a life. EDIT: Now I'm hearing it's not health related. He was probably thinking about it for a few months, and decided that now is the best time to step down. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
The Bob Stoops Football Camps just concluded today. As in, less than a couple of hours ago. Tell me the timing on this is not wonky. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
Wow Some are saying health issues (heart) and others are speculating of how he handled the Joe Mixon ordeal. Either way Bob was a class act and a hell of a coach. I'd take him at Nebraska any day of the week Quote Link to comment
