Saunders
5 Things That Need to Happen for Nebraska to be a Top 25 Team in 2017 With a new QB set to take over, receivers like Stanley Morgan Jr. need to step up this fall The Southpoint Sportsbook in Las Vegas has set the over/under for Nebraska at seven wins in 2017, which should be a relatively low bar to clear for a program as steeped in history and expectations as the Cornhuskers. But Mike Riley enters Year 3 in Lincoln looking to finish in the Top 25 for the first time with the Huskers, after coming oh-so close in 2016. (Nebraska went 9-4 last year and received the 28th-most votes in the final AP poll, 26th-most in the coaches’ poll.) How can Nebraska make its mark this year? Glad you asked... Isn't this what we assumed with Bo as well--one stupid, head-scratching loss a year to someone we had no business losing to? 1 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I'm not sure why we'd assume that about Riley. He had back luck in a lot of close ones in 2015 as a strike against him, but we beat all of the obvious teams we should have easily beaten in 2016. Quote Link to comment
