Give a nod to the fans, let us laugh at our past with a whacky trophy, and create a good rivalry with Minnesota. (It doesn’t hurt if they get better under Fleck, they could help us look good after a win) Its a win win win. Think about how some of the other trophies were originated. Many of them were silly student-created items to make the outcome a little more fun way back in the day. Broken Chair could be that same thing in 25-50 years (whatever timeframe). The origin story of the Illibuck and other trophies are weird and fun. Regardless, it would be nice if Frost recognized it even if it's led by fans.
