Huskerballz
I just don't see any way this game is played this weekend if they can't play it in Oregon. Relocating is an option, but then you're forcing season ticket holders to make last minute travel arrangements to see their team play at some place hours away since there's nowhere close by to play it as a failsafe. Would they relocate and also refund them for that game? The more I think about it, if the air doesn't improve, I'm just thinking no game. 1 Quote Link to comment
broganreynik
I highly doubt it's a possibility due to the logistics of passports, etc., but BC Place Stadium in Vancouver has an open date on Sunday. I think Denver is probably the best bet. Maybe a California stadium? Qualcomm isn't doing anything! Quote Link to comment

If we are going to wish, then I say move it to Browns Stadium in Cleveland. It hasn't seen good football in at least a generation. Quote Link to comment

The 49ers play on Sunday, but Levi's Stadium is open on Saturday if they can make the turnaround (doubtful). CEFCU Stadium in San Jose is open, with a whopping 30,000 capacity. Bulldog Stadium in Fresno is a little bigger and Fresno State is at Alabama. In California, you also have Stanford Stadium, Angel Stadium, Dodger Stadium, PETCO Park in San Diego, and AT&T Park in San Francisco. If the conditions are better in Washington, there's CenturyLink Field in Seattle, but the Sounders play on Sunday night. Also in the vicinity of the PAC footprint: Boise State is on the road, so their stadium is open (36,000 cap.), Utah is at BYU, the Cardinals are at the Lions, UNLV is at Idaho, New Mexico State is at New Mexico, and Air Force is at Michigan. And of course, Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. Quote Link to comment

teachercd
Yeah...I think it will all stay the same. Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
I heard either in Eugene, or cancelled. Quote Link to comment

Folks just don't quite understand the impact a decision to CANCEL this game would have on EACH program. Someone in here commented that it would screw over the season ticket holders at Oregon. Well, Oregon season ticket holders, speak up. Would you rather have the game cancelled or move to a different site? I am a Husker STH and I 100% would rather be able to watch a game on TV than have it cancelled all together. People will go CRAZY, especially Husker fans, if this game is cancelled. You can BOOK THAT. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
SO, if all they do is adjust the time, how sweet is it that we get a night game? Also, who ends up televising the game if it's a night game? Fox has a night game already. Stanford @ USC is slated to start at 7:30 PM on Fox. Could we see this game slid to PAC12 or BTN? I hope not PAC12, I don't know anywhere that even has that channel available. Could we talk ABC into televising us after the Okla/tOSU tilt? 10:00 start time? Quote Link to comment

What most likely would happen is that FOX would still televise it, and air it in Oregon and Nebraska only. Quote Link to comment

Do you mean in the "Nebraska" market or just the state of Nebraska? If it's only in NEB than it looks like I'm driving to the border and watching it there hah. Quote Link to comment
