Hurricane Irma

Recommended Posts

History repeating itself.  Seven years ago, almost to the day, there were three hurricanes in the Gulf/Atlantic.  They were named I, J, K:  Igor, Julia & Karl in order of development, but Karl, Igor & Julia from left to right.

Fast-forward to 2017 and we have three more I, J, K hurricanes: Irma, Jose & Katia.  Nearly the same size, in the same order, on nearly the same day.

I wonder if you could go back and see similar storms developing like this across the Midwest/Plains over the years at the same/similar times.
