What D do u "want" to see vs NIU... and What D do u "expect" to see vs. NIU?

• Tanner gets sacked a few times
• Run game is consistent, we rush for 200 yards
  • Wilbon breaks a big one or we have an end around go for a big gainer, puffing up our rushing stats
• NIU struggles offensively 
  • I think our defense comes out to play this week
• I think we win the turnover battle 4 to 1
• Final score 48-17 Big Red

 

Well if he goes 20-28 that is 71% so you will get your first wish.

Because, in this case, what I want to happen and what I think will happen just so happen to overlap. I think he's going to have an efficient game. I just think he's going to throw a few head scratchers.

There is maybe one or two QBs in college and pro football that don't throw some head scratchers during a game. 

 

So, that prediction is pretty easy.

Long ago I used to want us to shut a team out once a year.

 

Now I'm hoping we can hold them to 14.

 

What I think will happen is they score at least 21.

People, especially coaches, tend not to change how they do things.  I think we will be seeing what we have seen.  It is hard to get out of your comfort zone when you have 15-20 seconds to make a call.  

 

At practice...it is easy.

By arm I don't mean being a strong accurate passer.

 

I mean does he have an appendage attached to his shoulder?  If he does we might be in trouble.

Aggressive play at defense.  I would like to see three sacks.  And  receivers other than Stanley Morgan, being  thrown to, and catching, the football.

An inconsistent offense, and an improving defense.

 

  Defense will be okay and might end up being pretty darn good.  Offense still has me scratching my head sometimes.  Our offensive identity is not formed yet.  Our offense wants to run a lot of plays well, but there is not any plays we run great.
