Whistlepig
I learned there are a lot of Nebraska fans that really don't understand that past performance has something to do with predicting future performance- and that my 5-7 upgraded prediction of this season (downgraded from original 6-6) might need to be adjusted down ....again 1 Quote Link to comment
Branno
I learned what it must have felt like to my dad during the Callahan years. I learned that my 5-7 prediction is probably right on the money. I learned that I hate being right. I learned that I’m getting pretty close to not caring about Nebraska football anymore. Toe
To me, the most disturbing part of all of this isn't the interceptions (Lee wouldn't look so bad if there weren't guys constantly tackling him as he throws) or even the final score. It's that no one on the team seemed to care. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Everybody just standing on the sidelines like "Eh, whatever, there's another game next week. Sorry we suck." Second most disturbing part is that we were being physically pushed around by Northern Illinois... 1 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
not really learned but confirmed, SE is 100% a spy sent to us by Wisconsin. It is the most successful case of espionage i have ever seen the dude is a straight up saboteur. 30 for 30 needs to do a film about it. oh and a lot of fans really dont like wilbon Quote Link to comment

Nothing to lose now. GBR!!! I'd say get O'Brien AND Gebbia ready and see who plays best. No more future-star worship......play the guy who can do the job. Quote Link to comment
CheeseHusker
Program is no closer to glory than it was ten years ago, which I thought was the absolute lowest it could be. This might be worse. Quote Link to comment
Wild Savage Beast
Defense looked good (Diaco was a great hire, IMHO). It was a tough loss, but NIU is no pushover (now 4-1 against Big 10 teams -- all away games). Riley & Co. need a few more years to really get this Program running like a well-oiled machine. alwayshusking
Time for Mike to go. I've stood up for him at every turn but his teams are routinely disorganized, I've seen enough. Good luck to him. Quote Link to comment

(Ok, that wont happen as i will always support the TEAM). I'm not sure why there is this stubbornness to try something new when the old isnt working. Quote Link to comment
Spammytodd
I hope recruits weren't watching... Quote Link to comment

Lee can't take reps away from them this next week of practice. Shouldn't be a tough call for the coaches, but it won't surprise me to see Lee starting next week. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Riley had another opportunity to prove the doubters wrong and show we were headed in the right direction today. Hard to call this anything other than an utter, epic failure. I'm drifting more and more towards realizing it's time to start the Scott Frost 2.0 era in Lincoln. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
At this point I'd take Frost or Bohl or both in a second....at least they know what we were. Had a bad feeling when I heard McBride giving a pep talk on the radio.....thought it must really be bad. Quote Link to comment
