It doesn't matter.  If the 2 big sports (football and basketball) are not going well, and they generate the most revenue and attention for a program, that is all that really matters.

Incorrect. The other sports matter--namely, the ones that garner attention (e.g. Baseball) or are revenue neutral and/or make money (e.g. Football, Basketball, Volleyball, (sometimes) Baseball).

And other than Volleyball, all three programs are stagnant or trending down under Eichorst.

How did you get that?

The football program went downhill almost as soon as Tom Osborne retired. It's incredibly difficult to replace a hall of fame coach. Check out Alabama's woes after Bear Bryant retired. How long did it take them to right the ship again?

They won a national championship in 1992.

So winning the conference title last year for first time In awhile and getting to the post season 3 of last 4 means baseball is trending down? Wow, just wow. Don't have to like SE, but don't oversell the point.
