knapplc
That's why I said early Husker games. Later Husker game atmosphere is: 11% Nitrogen 2% Oxygen 2% Red Balloons 80% Tangible coldness 5% Aroma of hot schnocolate (although his may be cut down some due to the anti-terrorism clear bag policy) 1 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
And when Iowa is in town there's a not-to-be-discounted percentage of eau de pasture. But honestly, I try to ignore that as much as possible. Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
There are a ton of tickets available; I'm expecting it to be a Spring Game-like crowd and atmosphere. Quote Link to comment

Then they'll make their way to the stadium where they'll cheer when something goes right. After the game they'll all wander around some more, some will go shopping, some will go out to eat and go home , some will party down at the many downtown establishments. That's my guess. Do you have insider information? That sounds pretty detailed. :-) Quote Link to comment

Watching the fat slobs shove those down their face is my least favorite part of Nebraska games. And the stray slices of Vals that get mushed into the concrete. Welcome to Nebraska! Yeah, it gets a little gross at times. Especially the pizza part. Quote Link to comment

Reminds me of the time I drove up from Florida to see my sister and her family in western Iowa in 2010 when I stopped for the night in eastern IA. I got out of my car's AC to have a crushing weight of pig smell coming from a large feedlot. My first thought was, "Yup, I'm in Ioway." (need an emoji for holding your nose) 1 Quote Link to comment
