The Duke
If Northern Illinois was the beginning of the end for the Mike Riley era at Nebraska then... ...tonight Wisconsin's running game put the nail in the coffin. He'll finish out the season, but the Riley era is over. It's time to right this Nebraska ship. It's time to get back to TOUGH, PHYSICAL, POWER FOOTBALL. It still works...see Wisconsin. Wisconsin rushed for over 350 yards in Nebraska's own house, all without using the option. It was ALL POWER FOOTBALL. 2 Quote Link to comment
Ric Flair
I learned that this staff needs to be fired. It's bad enough to lose. Being physically and mentally dominated by a tougher and better coached team is inexcusable. Time to move on. Quote Link to comment
lo country
We out recruit everyone in the B1G, but PSU, OSU and UM. You wouldnt know it. Riley was a bad hire then and a worse hire now. This staff can't develop talent. Catchy phrases ie #savagegorillas and #moneyteam don't matter when you can't develop the talent. The system we need just beat our a$$ unconscious. If this had been a fight, it would've been called. Riley and Company can't be gone quick enough. Caleb has a leg. I was wrong to think Diaco was good and our D was improving. Just because we can't beat a 3-4, doesn't mean our 3-4 will beat yours. We look worse in year 3 with his guys than year one. The team did have moments of awesomeness. I feel bad they are saddled with .500 coaches. 4 Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
I didn’t learn anything that hasn’t been evident for the last 20 years. Im done with these coaches. Don’t care how they go, just hope it’s sooner rather than later. They perpetuate the soft attitude that prevents the players from giving a s#!t about losing. It’s a bad, soft football team. They don’t deserve the fan support they get. I need to see psychologist so I can quit caring how they do. I hate watching this team suck. 1 Quote Link to comment
The Duke
I also learned that Nebraska fans and Memorial Stadium is still a different beast at night. Even though we lost, kudos to the fans who went to the game tonight. Great energy in the stadium for 3 plus quarters. 4 Quote Link to comment
HuskerMav11
I'm not even watching the game next weekend. I don't support this staff. What a way to honor the 97 team. "Hey guys, remember that thing you guys did, and your predecessors did. You know, that power-running, run the ball down their throats while they simply just took it style of offense?...Come watch Wisconsin embarrass your alma mater by doing just that!" Langs is a joke and Mike Riley is the reason he's here in the first place. Bring on Scott Frost! 2 Quote Link to comment
ESPNSEC SUCKS
Power Football + Great defense = Championships...... I am numb to the losing and that needs to stop...ASAP!! HCMR needs to go. Nice guy, Bad Coach... 1 Quote Link to comment

I thought our offense showed some improvement tonight. Tanner was better. Ziggy ran hard. The line still stinks. Especially the right side. Our receiver corp still stinks too. Quote Link to comment

Do you think that has something to do with receivers who can't get open. Also, how many times did Tanner have to dodge the outside linebacker on our right side? Quote Link to comment
desertshox
i learned our d-line has horrible reaction times. whoever was on the left side wouldnt move until 2-3 seconds after the ball was snapped. Quote Link to comment
