Where can I find video clips of coaches interviews after game. Mostly Riley and Diaco. Want to hear these sh!tacular excuses!

HOL (Huskers online?) I get phone updates, like when OCDL went to mic after game and spoke.  I'm not sure the link though, sorry

is there ANY scenario where Riley stays? Like if he beats Penn State on the road and fires Langs and Cav at the end of the year or something similar?

The guy fired both his best friend Banker and Bruce Read last year, I think he's shown he's willing to make changes and do whatever he can. It's not enough at all and he's gotta go IMHO, but is there any scenario he stays?

I'm just worried about selling out for Frost and not getting him and then being back to square one. So sick of this "new scheme" "HC needs his guys in here" "Give him a few years" thing

Also there has to be something going on with Ozigbo or some behind the scenes thing because there is not a person on Earth who would watch our games and not come to the conclusion that he should be starting. They cannot be that inept. Wilbon's a good back but you put a guy who can't pass block ahead of a guy with 3 straight 100+ yard games who can also block? What is that

Agreed. Also I think Bradley was in for a play or two before Ozigbo. Maybe there is something behind the scenes but IMO they could be that inept.

I don’t think there’s any scenario he stays. Frankly he may not be on the sideline for our next game.

Now it’s getting to the point where the low prices of tickets are making news and national broadcasts are panning around a half empty stadium in the 3rd quarter. Once it gets to these embarrassing levels the decision has really already been made for the AD, whoever that will be.

I agree with this..........

I don't know what they will do, but they have to do something just to shore up the fan base.

i actually don't have an issue with mediocre Mike finishing the season as long as they announce this next week he is moving on.

There is no interim coach on this staff.  I think Mike sees it through.

"mediocre Mike" has given up in Lincoln.  He is not even mediocre here.  I don't believe any really good coach would want to come into this mess right now.  If you cold called a really good one, I think you would have to offer Saban type money, and then what if that guy fails.  TheUniversity is already on the hook for something like 22 mill to prev coaches and admin.

Time for a hard look in the mirror.  Do we want a program or not?

Come on @zoogs give me one good reason why Riley deserves another season. I want to see it!!!

I can legitimately give one scenerio to keep Riley.

Instead of maybe only spending 3-4 million on a new coach while also paying Pelini and Riley, Doing a full reboot again, they do this.

For 2018 Riley stays

Cavanaugh and Langsdorf are fired

They bring in a top tier OLine Coach and Pay up for an ELITE Offensive Coordinator on a 1 year deal. An OC who runs a more power run focused version of the WCO.

You hire that elite OC with the understanding that if things go well they will be given the head job within 5 years.

This gives Diaco a full year to let us see if his D will work, you give yourself a shot at an elite OC with a senior QB without a system change and if you strike gold GREAT. You have solidified your future on Offense and Defense and don't go full panic mode.

If it fails then you fire Riley and reboot with more money (say $5-7M) to put towards a new coach (Pelini, Riley and Eichorsts contracts are 1 more year off the books) and an easier schedule in 2019 for that first year transition.

Basically I'd rather risk 2018 being a complete throwaway year in hopes of getting lucky than to trust our Adminiatration not to just make another on the cheap midlevel hire simply because we're paying Millions of dollars for a bunch of people not to work at Nebraska anymore.

It sounds insane after watching what happened tonight, but honestly I Still would trust Riley's ability to hire an elite OC and OL Coach for next year more than I trust our Admin's abilty to hire a new Head Coach that is what we want them to be.  As long as those coaches have no affiliation with Oregon State.
