My biggest take away so far is WSU fans seem upset to see him leave.  Compare that to Eichorst, Miami fans were glad he left.

 

Judgement still comes down to who he hires.

All AD's are football guys.  Football is what pays the bills, unless your UK, KU, Duke, and UNC.  So, now that we have that handled, whats next?  Where do we go from here?

 

I don't really know about the hire.  Kind of skeptical, but I suppose we have to start somewhere. I do think its an upgrade over what was here, but don't know much more than that.  It all depends on the football hire.

I am happy with this hire. Guy has a proven track record of making good hires and making athletic programs not only better, but stable. He brought Mike Leach to Pullman, Washington which is incredibly impressive if anyone has been to Pullman or knows the general area. But we all know he has one job and that is to get rid of Riley and hire a new coach and that new coach better be good.

Liking this new guy already. He knows Riley sucks and will replace his ass. Who he hires is what will matter. I'm sure hoping it will be Frost. I could live with Chip Kelly.
