Season Prediction:   5 Wins & 7 Losses- No Bowl Game- New Head Coach- no more 3-4 defense

Agree. 3-4 fits Nebraska's needs from a local talent pool, it's just the current passive scheme that's the issue.

Final five games we go 3 wins, 2 loses.

 

Moos is a football guy.  He'll tell Riley he is here till the end of the season, then gone.  That will clarify the ugly suspicion that Riley has to be struggling with.  Moos will tell Riley what changes he "suggests" need to be made for the remainder of the year.  Having clarity and a touch of extra guidance eliminates a lot of uncertainty, which allows us to win the games we should.  Just my hopeful guess.

Well unless Moos can play Left Tackle like he did in college, I don't think him being a football guy is going to help too much on the field.   I'm glad he's a football guy and maybe being a OL, he'll understand the need to redevelop the pipeline and the importance of a strong OL as the key to a team's success and will hire a coach wt a similar view.
