And one of those times made it with a 5-3 conference record. He has ended the year in the top 25 3 times in 10 years, and once in the last 8 years. So he's done better than any of the coaches post-Solich is what you're saying? 1 Link to comment
TAKODA
Damn, I came here this morning to get my factual update on Frost from Jessica0 and I find out she has departed. How will I ever get through the day without the updates that were provided. Bad thing is, with each post Jessica0 posted, spewing information that many Husker fans were starving to hear, where she/he was adamant that it was insider data, the more it drove her/his need build more drama. In the business world they call this —> (Supply and Demand). I have zero reservations, believing that Frost or his agents have been spoken to, by someone within Nebraska’s Admin, or agents acting on our behalf. I would assume however that he is wise enough to know he has a game or two left to coach this season at CF, and his attention needs to be there. If everything comes together (offer/requirements/contracts details/timing), then there could be s shot. Now, lets see **** I am hungry! What time should I take a lunch today? I know, when the timing is right! 1 Link to comment

If we could block for them I think our QB talent would miraculously improve. The last two games have been two of Tanner's best, statistically, and I dont think many would claim great blocking. 2 Link to comment

Don't you think the Florida fans would go crazy bringing in someone that isn't coming from a winning situation? From Bradenton Florida (sound familiar?) Coached at USF for 4 years before going to Oregon (has ready built relationships with Florida high schools) Went 19-7 his last 2 years at USF, turning them around from a 3-9 team he took over Link to comment
RunMickeyRun02
I went through a phase in college where I was really into the flexbone, Fisher Deberry and Air Force were my 2nd favorite team. I'm not that into it anymore but I do like the Bob Davie flavor of it at New Mexico. Then again, the wins are exactly piling up there either. Link to comment

Don't hold his current record at Oregon against him. He knows Florida and the Southeast U.S. well. Link to comment

He also didn't have layups like Purdue, Northwestern, Minnesota, or Illinois to pad his wins with, either. He plays in a division that has Miami, Virginia Tech, and three teams that have flirted with high levels competence repeatedly in the past decade: Pitt, Duke, and UNC. 3 minutes ago, Red Five said: Mr Pelini would beg to differ He can beg to differ all he wants--if he had to play in the ACC Costal, he wouldn't have hit nine wins a season. Or do we need a reminder of how he choked away two wins against perennial ACC Costal power VTech? Edited November 21, 2017 by VectorVictor Link to comment

If it was outdated wouldnt you expect horrible records- no division crowns- no conference crowns etc. Link to comment

Florida wanted him to sign for 5 years and less money. He wanted a longer contract and we had to counter with more money. We will not be outbid. Mike Riley knows he is not coming back. He was told three weeks ago. GBR! Welcome back Jessica! 5 Link to comment
