I feel like it is 60% Scott is going to Nebraska, 30% staying at UCF, and 10% going somewhere else.  I'd be surprised if he's actually made up his mind already.

Are either one of you Dirk Chatlein?

I think it's fair to say we won't have a firm answer on scott this weekend if he wins Friday. But it will be fun to watch the dominos start to fall Saturday, as everyone scrambles to fire their coaches and lock up their new coaches. I just hope we don't get left at the alter. But the next 2 weeks will be entertaining- what like 5 or 6 major openings.

Think there will be more than 5 or 6 major openings...  This covers it fairly well;

12 The Lord sent Nathan to Nebraska fans. When he came to them, he said, “There were two programs in a certain country, one rich and the other poor. The rich program had a very large amount of P5 money and championships, but the poor program had nothing except one new coach they had bought. They gave him free reign, and he grew up with them and their fans. It gave them hope, a lot of wins and even playoff talk. He was like a hero to them.

“Now years of irrelevancy came to the rich program, but the rich man refrained from taking one of the unemployed coaches to prepare something for the irrelevancy that had come to him. Instead, he took the new coach that belonged to the poor program and prepared with him for the irrelevancy that had come to them.”

 Nebraska fans burned with anger against the program and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives, the program that did this must die!  They must pay for that coach four times over, because they did such a thing and had no pity.”

Then Nathan said to Nebraska fans, “You are that program!"

I am not liking the confidence I'm seeing on that Tennessee board... I didn't pay much attention to them because I thought Florida and then UCF was our main competition for SF. Between that though and what Hedley posted the other day just has me on tenderhooks. I don't think I've ever been excited for a season to hurry up and end either so this whole saga is just a bit weird for me.

Look at their Gruden thread. Same guy says his insider has heard they have the inside track on him. If UT lands Frost I really believe it’s cause Frost has no interest in being here because UT is a death sentence for any coach. UT needs to land someone with experience in the SEC, if they don’t they will have another Dooley, Jones, Kiffin situation.

Valid point.  But as a coach you have to be decisive and he knows the sooner he states he is staying at UCF the madness is over.  If his intentions were to stay. He would have announced it.

Not if he wanted to see how much he could make on the market and then have UCF match it.  That would just be smart business.

Thanks, it's the New Weeping Knights (NWK) translation.

Lol there is an idiot on their board who is claiming that their AD John Currie told him personally that Frost is coming. His last paragraph serves as a graceful landing spot if wrong so his credibility does not take a hit. He has no idea on what he is talking about. Tennessee serves as leverage at best. At Best.

To be fair. I dispute the argument Tennessee is a bad job. They are an old power that has fell on hard times. People are short sighted and think that job sucks cause they have struggled to find a good coach- just like we have.

Just throwing that out there because I have respect for traditional powers. Also we should know the same things get said about us.

That aside no way in hell frost goes to the team he beat for national title 20 years ago

4 of their national titles were in the "claimed" era. I don't think they're that great of a program.
