That same fan base is also why they probably ended up offering Schiano when they realized none of the actual good coaches were interested in dealing with it

Back from a relaxing game of golf in Kansas - almost 70 degrees in November! I agree with this, what the hell is that?

Watch Schiano take a different gig and make the playoff within a couple years, meanwhile the Vols still sitting middle of the SEC East

Well to be fair, if true, Tennessee fans have a little more right to be mad. Riley by all all accounts is a half decent guy.

 

But it does go to show the power of timing.... We announced Riley at noon on a Monday or Tuesday when everybody was at work. Not on a holiday weekend/Sunday when everyone is at home and able to research and then get mad... As far as ugly hires, a weekday is the way to go. With Riley, it was a conversation starter at work, but 30 mins later everyone was focused on their jobs again.

No amount of win's are worth what went down at state and anybody that was involved should not be near young adults under the age of 25......

I was coach at Penn St. during Sandusky.  Allegedly knew, didn't say anything.
