Frost is going to be in a tough spot. He has an undefeated season to achieve, a conference championship game to prepare and coach in in a few days, yet he has the fate of two programs waiting on his decision. Two programs that I am sure Frost has the utmost respect for.

If he chooses Nebraska, you'd think he would want to let UCF know as soon as possible so they could get started on their coaching search to replace him.

With all the coaching moves being decided at a super fast pace right now, all the available coaches are getting hired and it will be slim pickings in a week. This early signing period has really changed the game.

So be it Nebraska or UCF, one of these programs needs an answer to get started on their future.

In the grand scheme of things, it seems like it would be a pretty easy long-term decision for Frost when you don't factor in missing a big bowl this season with UCF.  Let's say UCF is one of only two teams to remain undefeated (Wisconsin the other), and UCF is nowhere close to being in the final four of the CFP.  That right there is an indicator that the CFP is not going to accept teams not in a Power 5 conference, so unless Frost is not interested in competing for a national championship, there is little upside to staying at UCF.  When you factor in his ties to Nebraska as his home state and his alma mater, I really can't think of many reason why he would want to stay at UCF unless he likes the warm weather and the town of Orlando that much.  If he would turn down Nebraska now, he may never get a chance to come back given how much Nebraska needs someone like Frost now.

Yep at UCF just to even have a remote shot you cant afford to lose one game a season. I think Sipple tweeted it, you can't win national championships at UCF. So far it appears that way, no matter how good your season is, there will be two loss P5 schools getting into the playoffs over you.
