Obviously getting blown out over and over by Wisconsin would also warrant some concern over his job stability but if we are consistently at or near the top of our division, Frost will be here a long time. I'm in it for Frost for the long haul, even with some crap seasons mixed in. Some times even the best coach has them. Stoops had a flop season every now and then, Jimbo this year (both won NC's). I'm just completely over this coaching search crap. While I do think Frost has what it takes to be successful at Nebraska, even if he doesnt, I'm going to support him to the bitter end, to avoid the emotional roller coaster we've been on. 1 Link to comment

Never seen my dad so emotional, right when we walked through and he saw the field he started tearing up and shaking. Best game I’ve been to. 4 Link to comment

Oh I'm right there with you. If you would have told me Riley would be fired at the end of the season to start the season I probably would have been very disappointed because I like the idea of continuity. I hate coaching changes and I think there is a reason TO put together such an incredible run after 20 or so years if trying. Don't get me wrong, getting rid of Riley was the right move and I am happy with the direction we are going in, but I really do think part of the formula at Nebraska is some form of extreme consistency. Wisconsin is doing it through their AD right now, hopefully we can do it with this HC hire. 2 Link to comment

I was surprised at how overcome with emotion I was to finally be there. It was something. I hope that people who go all the time don't take it for granted. I know I never will. 3 Link to comment
