It appears neither Alabama nor Georgia wanted the area, so there must be something wrong with it. The P5 conferences need to all get to 16 teams and form Division 1. The rest should be split into D-1A and have their own championship. D1 teams should only be allowed to play D1 teams. Each conference champion goes to an 8 team playoff with 3 at large teams. I have a problem with teams getting into the playoffs that don't play in the conference championship game. They get a bye week while the conference champ game players have 1 more game with injuries. 1 Link to comment
