They got Chip Kelly to agree in principle. Charlie Strong is their backup. Scott Frost, while technically still a candidate for the Florida job, they didn't land him. This argument for why they failed to land Scott Frost doesn't pass the logic test. I'm not going to get into all of the reasons why it doesn't pass the logic test, but I will keep it simple - TV networks will not pay for UCF to the Big 12. Yep, the way he mumbled and stumbled through that part gave the impression he was just making something up to act in the know. The way he spoke about that was a lot less confident then the rest.
