But the results have the Nebraska men's basketball team pretty happy, too. The Huskers picked up their second victory over a Power 5 opponent in seven days Sunday, downing Iowa State 92-84 in a closed scrimmage at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Coming on the heels of a 76-72 win over Mississippi State, the victory certainly has fans feeling good. And the results mean better practices as well. "It went well because there's a lot of teaching to be done, yet we came out with two good outcomes. And you want to feel positive about that," Nebraska coach Tim Miles said Monday. "There are some programs that just have culture wins — every year you know what you're getting. And we've just had too much turnover the last couple years; this team's got to figure out how to win." Few good quotes from Miles in there talking about the roster turnover and thus there being inevitable errors. Hope they get it all ironed out before KU comes to town. 1 Quote Link to comment
