Jose State I usually get into the B1G rankings for all these categories but it's getting depressing. Here are the averages of all the individual category averages for the B1G teams (without any consideration for SOS and relative to games between all FBS teams - i.e., the OOC games are included): Ohio State 85.60 Wisconsin 83.52 Penn State 80.92 Michigan 67.21 Michigan State 56.92 Purdue 56.82 Minnesota 55.23 Northwestern 54.34 Iowa 53.93 Indiana 44.40 Nebraska 36.51 Illinois 29.19 Maryland 29.16 Rutgers 29.15 If this was the world's football, also known as association football or soccer, I guess the silver lining is our team wouldn't be relegated (as I can't think of a league that sends down four teams)? p.s. - Remember that stats are interdependent. Because of how poorly our team has defended the run, it almost looks like (on paper) that we've defended the pass better than we have. See also: passing and rushing offensive stats. Do you think we have a good passing offense? I think it's more a matter of our being reduced to having to chuck it all over the yard (well maybe not ALL OVER because that would require more time than our QB routinely gets).
