ladyhawke
I was watching Big Red Wrap Up tonight and you could just see the pain on Blake Lawrence's (sp?) face as he talked about how tough it was playing in 2007. How it is so easy to lose confidence. But then Matt Davison later brought up what sets the Nebraska Cornhuskers apart from any other team and that is the fans. We are there-rain or shine; win or lose; WE ARE THERE! I hope that that Memorial Stadium is packed out for the last game of the season. These boys have heard nothing but negativity about this current team (Hey, I've been guilty too!) but they need to know that we still love them and will still be there for them. The sold out streak will continue because as Matt said, 'That's who we are.' It's part of the Nebraska culture. No one else has it. The 'Nebraska Way' is what sets us apart. (Climbing off my soapbox now.) GO BIG RED!!!!! 3 Quote Link to comment
Whistlepig
real fans would have pulled Perlman out into the public square stripped him naked and tarred and feathered him for allowing this to happen- twice! 1 Quote Link to comment

Never give up on the Huskers! 2 Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
I can't make games due to distance, but i do watch every agonizing minute. I want to see some fight when the chips are down. 2 Quote Link to comment
TGHusker
Would love to see the announcement that this is MR's last game and it ignites a fire and they go out and win one for the gubber. I mean gibber. Quote Link to comment
RunMickeyRun02
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who still in it to the end. Now basketball is still perplexing. Kent was talking about people leaving the game while the huskers were only up 2 possession with 4 minutes left...I just don't get it. Quote Link to comment
