Saunders
The media narrative of "Nebraska needs to give a coach time" needs to die. You'll get time, naturally, if you don't coach two losing seasons in 3 years, and the worst team in 50+ years. Lack of time isn't the problem at NU. Bad coaching, and lack of accountability is. Please for the love of all that is holy.... Beat Iowa. 8 Quote Link to comment

zoogs
I feel like Tanner Lee will do some good things next week, but it really won't matter in a game where Iowa scores at will. I think this defense has utterly collapsed. 2 Quote Link to comment
vwaldoguy
I think I learned some of the players can really play hard and fast when they want to. Edited November 19, 2017 by vwaldoguy wording change 1 Quote Link to comment

First time giving up 50+ 3 times in a season in 70 years. 2 Quote Link to comment
Frost Advisory
I learned we can score points at the end of the game in garbage time against 2nd and 3rd stringers to give us another moral victory. Hip Hip Hooray... 7 Quote Link to comment

PaulCrewe
It should be a battle of two inept coaches Friday, but MR has a way of bringing the best Nick Saben out of Ferentz Quote Link to comment

grandpasknee
I learned that they should make Diaco load the equipment on the bus, and drive it to the hotel. His new job. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
We have some talent at the skill positions. We have no running game. in addition to kicking duties, Drew Brown is a beast tackling on special teams. There should be no more doubt that Riley and company will be fired. I'd look at keeping Dubs. His guys played well tonight. The only bright spot. We do not have the talent nor depth to play a constant 3-4. The D is the weakest link and not even close. I watched closely and did in fact, see the strain. Did you? 1 Quote Link to comment

It would be most fitting for NU to go 0-3 after Eichorst's infamous "I had to evaluate where Iowa was" speech. 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNBigD
Riley in his presser, "this is year three, but it is really like year one". Holy crap. He's like Jason Garrett. Do feel bad for him, he knows he is gone. But he's also getting a nice retirement slush fund, so I dont know. 4 Quote Link to comment

After hearing some of the stuff coming out the last couple weeks, I don't think it's talent that's causing issues running the 3-4. I think Diaco's a horrible fit here. 3 Quote Link to comment
