bisonwiches
Not a single player has anything to apologize for. It’s been a rough stretch for Husker football, but the failings on the field rest on coaches and decision makers. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
Thanks Ben, I appreciate the apology. I expect one from the coaches when they are let go. 1 Quote Link to comment

Coaches get compensated with a lot of money to do a job with a high degree of likelihood that they will fail. They don't owe any apologies if they're fired. Quote Link to comment

Anyone who thinks they can't do it won't do it and they shouldn't be coaching. Yes Riley has done a bad job but I wouldn't expect anything less out of his attitude. I'd be a lot more concerned about the program if he was sitting up there telling us there is no way he can win. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
That is one kid, that prior to this apology was "getting it". He personifies the motor and drive kids need to succeed. Thanks for the apology, but not warranted. IMHO, you were never put into a position to succeed...... Quote Link to comment

No Riley's defensive coordinator has spouted off that we can't stop anyone and what has done to fix it the last 6 weeks aside from cash his paycheck. Quote Link to comment

MR stated in the press conference after the game that he took a 6-7 Nebraska to 9 wins the next season, and he believes he can do that again next year. He said he believes he is the right man to turn this team around. I do not know why he believes this. He ran the car into the ditch. It is obvious he cannot get the car back on the road. You know Diaco is correct don't you? The opposing offense always stops when they reach the end zone, and Diaco's D lets them get to the end zone faster than anyone. Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
The main guy we really need an apology from is Harvey Perlman. He had his hand in everything that has gone wrong with Husker football the past 16 years. 2 Quote Link to comment
