theknife
I felt much better after watching him coach up that D vs. Auburn. Given the paddy cake we have played in Lincoln for the past decade, I'll take this aggressive style. Quote Link to comment
Huskers93-97
I think everyone should be done questioning chinander and the entire staff. That was a big boy team from a big boy conference with elite coaches. Quote Link to comment
PasstheDamnBallGuy
That defense looked like they had Auburn's playbook. Very excited after watching that game. Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
Lends at least a little credence to the theory that UCF's defense was just worn down at the end of the regular season from playing 12-13 weeks without a bye, not to mention against two very prolific offenses in USF and Memphis to end it. Nobody's going to completely stifle Auburn's offense, but what they did was damned impressive. Edited January 1, 2018 by HuskersNC949597 Quote Link to comment

Great job by the kids putting in the effort and the coaches getting them ready. Those kids wanted it bad. Quote Link to comment
Old Nebraska Guy
Yes, I feel better about the future defense now. GBR Edited January 2, 2018 by Old Nebraska Guy Fix typo Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
What ever they call the play where Auburn would line up two receivers right behind each other was defensed masterfully by UCF. Front defender would jam the front receiver and the second defender was reaching the second receive about the same time as the ball. Excellent film study, planning and execution. I didn't see any strain on those plays!!! Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
The tackling in space was very impressive! Quote Link to comment

Plus they played the USF and second Memphis game when all the Frost and company leaving drama was at its peak, may not have helped matters. Chin had a hell of a scheme and his rested, refocused defense executed well. Quote Link to comment

huskered17
Less worried now. Looked like his 3* players, played better than Auburn's 4*'. Good job. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
I was impressed that he switched things up vs Auburn, something Diaco never did. He would press corners, blitz, zone/man etc. They aren't playing with NFL talent either. Edited January 2, 2018 by BIG ERN Quote Link to comment
