ScottyIce
What could a potential role for him be? Is it possible we see QB's splitting reps? Could he potentially have a role in the offense as a 2 minute QB, or something along those lines? Or is it just best if he leaves for the draft or Grad Transfer... I'm currently thinking it's best for him to transfer or go Pro, but would love to hear other thoughts on him. Quote Link to comment

Enhance
I've never been a fan of a two quarterback system. The examples of it functioning well are far outweighed by the examples of offenses that couldn't click or execute well enough consistently. He has some big decisions in front of him. I'm sure he'll be having a discussion with Scott at the beginning of the new year and whether or not they see a fit. If he has aspirations of playing in the NFL, he can't go through spring ball, summer workouts and fall camp only to ride the bench this next fall. It would be more advantageous for him to declare for the draft or at least see where he might rank in the draft. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
If he stays and doesn't win the job outright, I still think he is a good guy to have in the QB room if he accepts that role Edited December 6, 2017 by Nebfanatic 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
If Lee stays I see him starting at CB next year. Hopefully he takes to the new coaching and scheme. 2 Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Tanner Lee probably shouldn't stay. Eric Lee should give it another year. 1 Quote Link to comment
ADS
Lee should go pro while he has the opportunity. Eric Lee will stay and be fine. Quote Link to comment

RedDenver
If Lee isn't going pro and thinks he could win the job, then he should stay through spring ball. He's on schedule (reportedly) to graduate in May and can then grad transfer to another school. So his options are really: go pro now or stay through at least spring ball. Quote Link to comment

commando
i wouldn't write him off just yet. i don't know how well he will fit in the new offense or not but it seems to me that he would want to compete for the job. Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
I don't see Lee staying. I believe Mike's biggest mistake was adjusting his offense to fit what we had instead of changing to his system right away. I can't see Scott making the same mistake... Lee has zero chance to better his draft stock here so why not leave. Quote Link to comment
Mr.Rodgers
If he stays then great, I’m sure he will fight for the starting position. Hopefully the new coaching staff knows how to use his skill set properly. Not sure why everyone thinks he will be benched. Possibly the best passer on the team. Quote Link to comment
