caveman99
They are going to really miss Hunter next year. The team started to gel and elevate their play when she got cleared to play after a bit of a rough start to the season. I am sure Cook will have a plan, but Hunter is awesome to watch play. Great Husker career. Quote Link to comment

Great Husker career. The plan is Hunter Atherton, the #41 overall prospect & #8 Setter in her class, and a High School All-American. She graduated early and has been in Cook's program since January, 2016. Her mom was a high school coach, and Cook says she has a lot of the same skill sets as former Husker Setters. We'll see. You're right that Hunter is the biggest loss of this class. She's the rock on which this team is built. Atherton has big shoes to fill, but Cook & his assistants have done an amazing job getting the first-year players up to a championship level this year. Quote Link to comment

I agree that if anyone can get a Fr. to play at a high level early on, Cook and Co. have definitely shown their ability to do so. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
This is incredible. Hunter's postseason record as a starter: 2015: 6-0, won National Championship 2016: 4-1, lost in the first round of the Final Four 2017: 6-0, won National Championship 1 Quote Link to comment
