Walk-ons who were going to attend USD or SDSU would be getting scholarships from those schools, so the fact that those schools are now offering Nebraska residents in-State tuition will have little to no impact on NU’s football program. It’s an attempt for those schools to increase their overall enrollment, and give Nebraska residents another choice for their college education, especially those who live close to the NE-SD border.
