RedDenver Posted January 9, 2018 Share Posted January 9, 2018 I gave this recipe a try over the holidays (sorry, forgot to take pics) and it was a hit with the extended family that was here. I had someone who couldn't have dairy, so I left the dairy out while making the bisque, and then added it to each bowl at the table, which worked fine. I had already made creme fraiche, which was excellent in the bisque. I diced some chives to add as a topping at the table. Tip: stay with a smaller squash unless you want leftovers. I made one bigger squash and ended up with enough bisque for about 30 people (I was shooting for enough for 12 people). But I was able to freeze the leftovers in ziploc bags.
