And those guys have bigger calves than our players biceps.  If all you're going to focus on is the belly then we just have to agree to disagree.

But you're wrong.

Generally calves are bigger than biceps.

And biceps really aren't that functional in football.  Curls for girls, or so it is said.

Legs matter.  Arms matter.  Athletic ability matters.  Bellies don't matter much.  Just look at our two current starting All-American tackles:

Here's one with a belly:  (Orlando Brown, Oklahoma)

Here's one without: (Mike McGlinchey, Notre Dame)

Not that this is only applicable to the offensive line but it seemed appropriate here:

Word is the new staff made it mandatory for guys to eat three meals a day at the training table in the stadium.  Want to make sure everyone is eating right.

I'm not going to question what was happening under Riley,  but it's hard to imagine that any staff wouldn't require this and that any player wouldn't do it on his own.

That was the other part of the report that I didn't post.  It wasn't mandatory under Riley.  And the inference was it wasn't happening voluntarily.

the players did know it was free and what they served?

That's the bizarre part.   Why wouldn't you eat a free, high quality meal every time instead of paying for crap? If I had the opportunity to eat lobster for free I sure as heck wouldn't pay for a McDonald's hamburger.
