Moiraine
Using quadrants it's so arbitrary. It's a little like tax brackets. Except there's an excuse with the tax brackets. We're talking 300+ million people vs <500 basketball teams. Edited February 21, 2018 by Moiraine Quote Link to comment
ECisGod
Yesterday on Lunardi's bracket, NU was 4th on the "first four out" & PSU 1st on "next four out". Today, after PSU lost at home to Michigan, they have flipped. He also dropped Michigan's seed. It seems like he is randomly making decisions without looking at actual results. Quote Link to comment

Go to bracketmatrix.com and look at their bracket rankings. Top 5 there are incredibly accurate. 2 Quote Link to comment

PSU loses to Michigan at home and PSU moves up & Michigan moves down follows no logic whatsoever. Maybe he consults with Bozo the Clown, Miss Cleo, Richard Simmons & Diana Ross' psychic friends when doing his updates. Quote Link to comment

That bracket also only gets updated every three days or so so NU's spot in the First Four Out probably didn't have our loss to Illinois included yet. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
If we win the next two we are in. All that matters at this point. Quote Link to comment

Moiraine
Would y'all rather we win the NIT or lose in the first round of the NCAA tournament? Quote Link to comment

Neither one sounds great, but I think I would rather make the NCAA tournament and get bounced right away. At least then you can say "we went dancing" 1 Quote Link to comment

Moiraine
I agree, NCAA tournament. It's worth it for the excitement even if we lose. Just making sure everyone else was right like me. 2 Quote Link to comment

Let me rephrase: How many of the 20 win teams that are projected in the tournament have only 1 win against the top 60? Nebraska's resume isn't good, we HAVE to beat psu and a game in the tourney.
