Mavric
Quote Scott Frost’s staff had a tough task ahead of them after Nebraska named its new head coach in late November. Several defections left the class in the basement of the Big Ten rankings and the inaugural early signing period loomed. In stepped Ryan Held, a Nebraska alum who was one of Frost’s first hires, and he immediately started racking up the frequent flyer miles. Nebraska was able to sign 13 prospects in that early signing period and ended up with 24 overall to improbably post the Big Ten’s third best class. Held officially was the lead on six of those signees, including four-star running back Greg Bell, but he gets a big assist on much of the rest of the class. Rivals 2 Quote Link to comment

In all seriousness, Held and Frost did an impressive job of rounding out the class the last month and a half or so. It's great he was recognized as a top 25 recruiter and I'm excited to watch him and the rest of the staff recruit for 2019. On a lighter note, we are pretty much going to need a separate thread for all of the pointer gifs that are to come. An "APB" thread perhaps. 1 Quote Link to comment
