What Americans Spend on Engagement Rings by State

My girlfriend always tells me she doesn't care if I get her a CZ for an engagement ring or even some other non-diamond stone, which I'm cool with too. Something a little more "unique" and personal, but something durable.

 

There are some alternatives to diamonds now: lab-created diamonds are a cheaper and don't feed the cartels (that I know of anyway). I've also looked a Moissanite which I think is a cool alternative.
