It would seem like his stats should be good enough.  Unfortunately for him Scherzer has been just as good - slightly higher ERA but better WHIP and more strikeouts - and is 17-6.  So he'll probably win it.  Nola has been good too.

 

Just noticed that the top four in NL ERA are all in the East.

Which shouldn't be the case. King Felix won the Cy a few years ago and was 13-12.

I understand Scherzer and Nola are right there with him. But Scherzer has struggled (compared to normal for him) his last few starts. And to me without looking at stats it just feels like DeGrom has been pitching this well for the entire season and had he gotten any run support at all he would have 12-15 wins.
