The didn't find any direct physical or testimonial evidence that the well documented biases affected the charging decisions. All that means is that no one was dumb enough to document they were clearing her because they preferred her to Trump. They didn't write it down.

Thank you for admitting that you are making accusations without evidence.

No wonder the deep state failed.  They were trying to eliminate a paper trail by using ESP!

You're supposedly a college professor, Ric.  Do you ever just stop and look at the info in front of you and say, "huh, maybe Rush is being a bit of a contortionist with the facts..."?

The stupid thing about the reaction to the text is that they likely thought their investigation was what would stop him from becoming president, if what they were finding was all true. If a campaign is infiltrated by a foreign government, or worse, the candidate colludes with the foreign government, they should be stopped from being elected. There's no statement about using illegal means to do so.

And, to state the obvious again, the FBI didn't so much as let anyone know there was an investigation going on, which might very well have lost the election for Trump.

A bit semantic, but they did. The New York field office let Congressional Republicans now there was an investigation going on, and it may have cost Clinton the election.

I bet I’ve listened to Rush once in the past five years.

I'm talking about the Russia investigation. The public didn't know.

It's not damning at all.

The question is whether the Obama Justice Department and FBI were biased against Trump. There were multiple examples in the IG report that proved they were...including the lead investigator telling his FBI lawyer girlfriend that there was no way Trump would win the election because they would stop it.

Pretty damning. Did you watch the Senate hearing today?

Let's pretend circumstantial evidence is okay and you are 100% correct.  Were the FBI agents wrong?

Circumstantial:

Trump Junior met with a Russian to get dirt on Hillary

Roger Stone met with Russians for dirt, but didn't want to pay

Donald Trump asks Russia, from a podium, to release Hillary emails

Trump officials have GOP platform adjusted to a pro-Russia policy at GOP Convention

Those are just off of the top of my head.  If we are going to make assumptions based on circumstantial evidence, how could anyone not believe "without a doubt" that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian Govt?  In that case, the FBI agents should be seen as American heroes. (edit: heroes that failed because they are bad at ESP and stuff...and really, really, unorganized)

You're conflating the actions of two people with the entire DOJ & FBI? Come on man.

Let's not pretend like Trump isn't a particularly odious human being. It's would not be unusual to pull Joe Blow off the street at random & find out he has a negative opinion of the guy. It's why he's had record low approval numbers his entire presidency.

That said, FBI agents or investigators can't allow political bias to influence how they do their jobs. Which again, the NY field office apparently did, but Strzok & Page did not; the IG report says as much.

What's not to get? It's not that damning that a couple FBI agents hated Trump. You know how many hated Clinton? IMO what the NY field office did was much more consequential & inappropriate.

1) It’s more than two people. Read the report. I think five more have been referred for investigation for similar BS.

2) Strok and Page aren’t two run of the mill agents. Strok was leading the investigation and Page is a key attorney at the FBI. They also reference other key figures like McCabe, who seem to have been in on their nonsense.
