Andrew Ward Leaving the Huskers

Recommended Posts

Yeah, you don’t force anyone out. Be honest and let them know where they sit on the depth chart, and where they could drop to with summer recruits arriving. It takes a lot of commitment to wake up at 5am for morning workouts and practice everyday on top of all the film and playbook study as it is. Then without any playing time on the horizon, you’re better off transferring, in which case the coaches will help you find a good situation to land.

I had felt Ward was a bit of a tweener. I’m not sure where Ward even was on the depth chart but Breon Dixon seems like a faster version of him. Best of luck to him.

I read somewhere that Snyder was out the door, but like Brokop there has been no player conformation.

Word is Snyder is going the same route as Brokop - staying in school but no longer on the football team.  Neither has said anything publicly but that seems to be the story.
