I would say it's more hedging their bets - if Gebbia wins the job it would look kind of bad if they had him at #30.  Or if one gets hurt.

Sounding sexist, i know, but I wish more women had this attitude.  Instead, i deal with a bunch of high school girls in their 50's and 60's.

We need many of these transfers to perform well, after all we brought them in because they were positions of need.

 

I'm interested to hear here shortly from the offensive coaches because Held was not shy in his overall dissatisfaction at times with the backs in the spring. I'm hoping he's seen the same kind of improvement the defensive coaches saw.
