I kinda like Do-B-Q.  Could make a song mashup with Susie Q.

And the misuse of seen and saw bugs me too. Don’t get me started on To-Too-Two....

I've had to bite my tongue many times when my best friend says " I seen Mr Smith yesterday."  But he is the same friend who pronounces aluminum as "Lunimun".  This reminds me to comment about those I have seen spell the word tongue as "tounge".

I always referred to a soft drink as pop ...........is the word soda becoming more frequent?

I think pop is a more Midwestern thing (for that record, I refer to soft drinks as pop as well).

I have a coworker from Alabama and he says everything down there is 'soda.'

It's almost culture shock when i visit the Midwest now and see in the "Pop" aisle in groshery stores.  It's all soda out here in eastern PA.  I have a pretty bad addiction to pop, and it shocks people when I say, "I've never consumed a soda in my life" -- because i only drink pop.  Even tho, as the graphic above shows PA as a dual pop/soda state, i get laughed at when i say pop.
