Scott Frost makes his coaching debut on the 362nd sellout Couple things I found interesting. -NU opens 2018 against Akron. -NU opened up against Akron in 1997 -Devaney's first squad went in to Michigan Stadium and upset the Wolverines on 9/29/1962. -Frost takes his first squad into the same stadium on 9/22/18, nearly 56 years to the day. 1 Quote Link to comment

And coach Tom recently said he believed the sell out streak would have ended without the hiring of Frost. If Riley were retained, yep. There would be little enthusiasm this year which would lead to the end of the sellout streak. The one thing Eichorst and Riley didn't destroy. But I think at times last year it was even in serious jeopardy. I've never seen more fans leaving games early than last season. It was, in my opinion, worse than the Callahan era. BC may have made it work if he had gotten rid of his DC. We did make it to the Big 12 championship game and had a great QB in Zac Taylor. And BC recruited SUH among many other good players.
