Dogs In A Pile
Do you guys think Frost will discuss the Martinez injury at the press conference tomorrow? Things like the extent of the injury and expected time to be out or will he decline to discuss it at all? I seem to remember the staff stating they wouldn't talk about injuries during the season and am curious how they will handle this. 1 Link to comment
LumberJackSker
If they have the mri/test results in I'm sure he will especially if he's going to be out for a significant amount of time. If its not that serious he'll just do the coach speak thing and say its day to day. Link to comment
I AM FOOT FOOT
Frost has said he won't comment on injuries unless it's season ending. 1 Link to comment

Fru
I’m guessing Frost will be coy and only have comments like “He’s day to day” or “We’ll see” Link to comment

Correct, so lets hope Frost doesn't comment. I assume if AM is healthy Frost does not want Troy to have the information. Link to comment

Sooooo..... even if his knee is fine, you don't want him to have more experience before going to Michigan??? Seems odd. 1 Link to comment

Seems odd. The thing is, there have likely been hundreds of times players have asked the coaches to put them in when they weren’t actually ready and then injured themselves even worse. You can’t just take a kid’s word on it. IMO, the coaches should keep him out of the game as a precaution. Link to comment
Undone
Here's a hypothetical that's kind of interesting to kick around: Let's say the doctors and trainers determine that he's at 80-90% by Friday evening. Should he play? Maybe he doesn't start but comes in at halftime? Of course, we as fans never know what the doctors are actually saying. But reading between the lines I might guess that he'll be around 80-90% by game time (and this is just internet babble for discussion). Link to comment
